OFFICIAL NOTICE OF TRANSITION ~ Mrs. Evelyn Faye Grant ~ Thursday, August 6, 1964 - Sunday, December 1, 2024.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of Evelyn Faye Grant, a loving and devoted member of our community, who passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the age of 60.
In celebration of her life, we share her heartfelt poem: Remember Me: Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, I've only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So, dry your eyes and remember me, Not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of you, I can live my life in your heart.
HOME GOING SERVICES will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM from OUR DAILY BREAD MINSTRIES - 715 Griffin Avenue Valdosta, GA.
Internment: Pallbearers Cemtery
May Mrs. Grant's love, legacy, and memory continue to live on in hearts of those that love her and those she loved.
