Those left behind to cherish her memory include her parents, Andrew Hairston and Kelsey Penn Hairston; her paternal grandparents, Elder Charles Hairston, Sr. and Anita Hairston of Rocky Mount, VA; her maternal grandparents, Elder Eric Penn and Andrea Penn of Martinsville, VA; one aunt, Erica Penn of Martinsville, VA; three uncles, Charles (Amber) Hairston, Jr. of Roanoke, VA, Nicholas (Adriania) Hairston of Moneta, VA, and William Hairston of Ferrum, VA; four special sisters, Ajane Rhodes of Lynchburg, VA, Adrionna Gooden, Lavernia Patterson, and Disaya Patterson all of Ferrum, VA; three cousins, Eli, Daniel, and Grayson all of Martinsville, VA; two special uncles, Kieth (Terri) Johnson of Lynchburg, VA and Orlando (Keturah) Marsh of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 12 noon at Hairston Family Cemetery located at 3153 Cascade Road, Cascade, VA 24069.
