Rosa Martin Venable,71, of Martinsville, VA passed Saturday, March 8, 2025. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 11: a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hairstonโs Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA 24112. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Reach Out Apostolic Tabernacle, 225 Brenda Dr., Axton, VA 24054 with the Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Hairston Family Cemetery, Axton, Virginia. Services entrusted to Perry-Spencer Funeral Home.

Mama Rosa I'm so lost for words. I spoke with you all say prior also the weekend before. You was happy as normal but, this time it was a glow happiness. :) I've been stuck in a daze but I know you are resting peacefully with Papa and your children. You will be missed so much. Our talks, laughs and the good times I will always remember. I'm going miss your good ole pot salad and peach cobbler. That we just discuss you would make me in the next few weeks. We will keep your memories alive and continue to push through exactly like you would. We love you and you will be missed so much Mama Rosa BINGO!!! :)
