Howard D. Hunt, 33, of Maple Hill Rd, Greensboro, NC departed from this life Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC. He was born in Rocky Mount, VA on November 25, 1989, to Howard L. Hunt and the late Robin M. Mosley.
Howard was a graduate of Page High School, class of 2008. He was a member of Shiloh Way of the Cross. He enjoyed basketball, playing videogames, and cutting up and playing jokes with his loved ones.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are two sisters, Raven S. Hunt and Jasmine N. Mosley both of Greensboro, NC; one brother, Robert M. Younger of Danville, VA; his maternal grandmother, Jackie Mosley of Greensboro, NC; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy M. (Ree) Ross of Martinsville, VA; grandfather, Robert M (Renee) Mosley; a special aunt, Penny Parker of Charlotte, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
A visitation service will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Way of the Cross Church, 938 Brookdale St, Martinsville, VA with Bishop Early Dillard, eulogist. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 1310 Carver Rd., Martinsville. A public viewing will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Hairston Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. The family will receive friends at 302 Maple Hill Drive, Greensboro, NC at other times. In accordance with the CDC face coverings and social distancing will be required.

It seems like yesterday I was staying in Greensboro with you raven and jasmine I made sure every time I came down to martinsville either you came to my nanas or I came to spend time with you.I still remember staying up all night at Poochie's playing playing video games or watching Darrick play them. on the Christmas's when we weren't able stay at Karen's i made sure you were able to stay at my Nanas man (I'm going to miss you my heart is heavy right now fighting these tears typing this ) And when it wasn't Christmas I always jumped on Xbox called you and asked you to hop on GTA so we can talk junk to ppl man we have so many memories. I just want you to know I won't ever forget how kind and generous you were I will always think about you and play these beautiful moments we had together non stop in my heart. I will see you again cuzz watch over all of us. Love you man 🕊️🕊️🕊️😇😇😇
