On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Evangelist Linda βCarolynβ Galloway 69, of Bassett, VA transitioned peacefully at Stanleytown Health & Rehab Center, Bassett, VA. She was born on April 15, 1955, in Martinsville, VA to the late Freddie Galloway, Sr. and Alice Stultz Galloway. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Hairston.
Linda Carol was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School class of 1973. She received her Master of Theology from Jacksonville Seminary.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Camille L. Galloway of Lexington, NC; four grandchildren, Eric N. Hill, Gavin A. Hill, Dallas C. Offutt and Denver C. Offutt all of Lexington, NC; one sister, Juanita Bennett of Martinsville, VA; one brother, Freddie Galloway, Jr. of Martinsville, VA; one brother in law, William Hairston; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 12 noon at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA with Elder Earnest Long, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park103 Clearview Dr., Martinsville.
