Upon moving to Eden many years ago, my son heard him preach and he said we need to go to his church, so we went looking for him. The fellowship was a blessing to all of us. To Joyce and Neal and the family, I send you my condolences. To lose a loved one is extremely hard and sad. Bobby was a preacher of the Word and I know that He probably went over these scriptures with His congregation many of times. I would like to share these scriptures with you in hopes of giving you comfort.

What Can That Mean For You?

•Comfort when loved ones die. -2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.

•Freedom from the morbid fear of death. -Hebrews 2:15.

•A real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones.-John 5:28,29.

CAN WE REALLY BELIEVE WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS? Yes, for at least three reasons:

•God is the Creator of Life. The Bible calls Jehovah God "the source of life."(Psalm 36:9; Acts 17:24, 25) The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.

•God has resurrected humans in the past. The Bible reports eight instances of humans- young, old, male and female who were brought back to life on earth. Some had been dead for a short while, but one had been in a tomb for four days!-John 11:39-44.

•God is eager to do it again. Jehovah hates death; he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) He has"a yearning" to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. (Job 14:14,15).

I hope and pray that these scriptures bring you comfort and hope to help you see and feel that death even though it brings such sadness and grief.

•The Bible show's us, that Death will be a thing of the past under God's Kingdom-Revelation 21:3,4.

We pray for God's Kingdom to come: •Matthew 6:9,10

•The purpose of the Kingdom (Daniel 2:44; 7:14)

•And ruled over by Christ Jesus Our Lord and Savior, until He hand the key's of the Kingdom back to His Father. -1 Corinthians 15:24
