On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Brandon Gill, 38, of Second St., Martinsville, VA transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at his residence. He was born April 8, 1986, in Martinsville, VA to Kenneth D. Gill, Sr., and Stephanie Easley. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frederick Gill, Jr., and his maternal grandfather, James Leon Easley.
Brandon was a graduate of Bassett High School class of 2004. He was a member of St. Paul High Street Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory includes his father, Kenneth D. Gill, Sr. (Connette) of Sanford, NC; mother, Stephanie Easley (Stacy Carter) of Martinsville, VA; three daughters, Mia Lopez Gill, Reina Lopez Gill, and Chloe Gill Lopez all of Collinsville, VA; three brothers, Bradley Gill of Martinsville, VA, Dorian Harris of Salem, VA, and Kenneth Gill, Jr of Hickory, NC; one sister, Kiera Swan of Roanoke, VA; paternal grandmother, Malena “Sue” Gill of Martinsville, VA; maternal grandmother, Linda Green of Fieldale, VA; special friend, Ivonne Lopez of Collinsville, VA; two aunts, Alfreda Gill Sparrow (Robert) of Roanoke, VA, and Trekeyta Easley of Durham, NC; one uncle, Aree Easley of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 12 noon at the C.R.V Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville with Rev. Warren Watts, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Peoples Cemetery, Second St., Martinsville, VA. The family request that everyone dress casual for the funeral service.
The family will be receiving friends at Hairston Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5, 2024, between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Live streaming of the funeral service will be available at Hairston Funeral Home live via Facebook.
