Bishop Roger William Mullins, 63, husband of Evangelist Bernice Heyward Mullins and son of the late Robert L. and Ethel Hodge Mullins, was born on January 15, 1956 in Axton, VA. He departed this life on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Bishop Roger Mullins graduated from Laurel Park High School and is an Army Veteran. Bishop Mullins was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
Those who shall forever cherish his memory are his daughter, Renata Mullins of Sumter, S.C., and his two sons: Roger Mullins Jr., of Sumter, S.C., and Ricardo Mullins of Sumter, S.C.; one sister Andrea Gay Millner of Axton; three brothers Wesley Randall Mullins (Felicia) of Martinsville, Robert Scott Mullins of Axton and Dr. Victor Clark Mullins (Nancy) of Ellicott City, Md.; and 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home, 2381 Orvis Street Sumter, SC 29154. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Sumter High School (2580 McCrays Mill Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
