Anthony “Cleve” Dickerson 61, of 305 W. Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, N.C. departed this life on Friday, April 26,2024, at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC. He was born in Martinsville, VA November 6, 1962, to the late Lloyd Herman Dickerson and the late Macie Lee Rumley Dickerson. In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Dean Dickerson.
Anthony was of the Baptist Faith. He graduated from Laurel Park High School in 1982.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory, four daughters, Yolanda Tinsley of Reidsville, N.C., Damaris (Jamie) Dillard of High Point, N.C., Charmaine Jones of Woodbridge, VA, Tiffany Dickerson, Spanish Fort, AL, one son, Anthony C. Dickerson, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, grandchildren, Genesis Glenn, Corinthian Glenn, Titus Glenn, Brooklynn Williams, Isaiah Dillard, Jasilee Dillard, Jordan Dillard, Irelynn Dillard, Jaylen Dillard, Ilana Dillard, Jayla Ellis and Marquise Johnson, Jr., two great grandchildren, two sisters, Cheryl M. Dickerson of Collinsville, VA, and Teresa L. (Chris) Carter of Danville, VA, four brothers, Lloyd B. Dickerson of Greensboro, N.C., Stafford "Lenny" Dickerson of Grand Prairie, TX, Felix W. Dickerson of Fayetteville, N.C., and Wesley L. (Mary) Dickerson of Raleigh, N.C. and host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA with Bishop Elect Alan Preston, Eulogist. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA. between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and all other times the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Teresa and Chris Carter, 1095 Old Mayfield Rd. Danville, VA.
