Our belove Sheila F.G. Jackson was born September 24, 1961 in Cordele, Georgia to Mamie Wright and the late Curtis Dowdell. She was a 1979 graduate of Crisp County High School. Sheila went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Clark University in 1983. Sheila entered in to marriage in 1986; to this union three children were born (a son preceded her in death, Rodney Sean Jackson). She continued her education by becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1992.

She chose to began her Christian Life at Greenforest Community Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor George O. McCalep, Jr. She moved her membership to the Crossroad Christian Community Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Charles Bennafield. She was a faithful member always doing whatever necessary to make things better. She employed her leadership skills by teaching a delegation workshop, headed efforts for the Youth Outreach Organization (also known as the BODY). She lead the efforts for the Administration Committee for the church. She enjoyed working for God, bringing Him glory at all times.

During her lifetime, several companies employed Sheila; she was a Staff Accountant for Ivan Allen, Account Manager at Domino's Pizza, Inc. Sheila spent nearly 20 years at Cox Enterprise, Inc where she held several positions including, Manager of Accounting Services for Cox Communications, Training Facilitator and Assistant Controller-Circulation Accounting for the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Sheila enjoyed working with youth in just activities as Cheerleading, Girl Scout Leader and Youth Ministry Assistant.

After over a year of suffering, Sheila found PEACE on July 7,2008

Our belove Sheila leaves to cherish her loving memory two daughters, Ryann S. and Robynn S. Jackson, of Stone Mountain, GA. her devoted and loving mother Mamie Wright of Cordele, GA one devoted and loving brother and sister-in-law Lawrence J, Margue B. Greene of Riverdale, GA. One loving and devoted cousin/sister/brother-in-law, Shearon Johnson, Michael A. Sr., which preceded her in death of Flint, Michigan. Her "Ram in the Bush" best friend, Winifred L. Jackson of Decatur, GA, her aunt and uncle Maryellen White (Sylvester)of Flint, MI, uncle Alvin G. Williams of St. Louis, MO. Cousins, Apryl D, Fields (Lamar) of Flint, MI., nieces, De'ja M, Jessica J.,nephews, Quitin S. (Keisha) Jacki J. II, Miles T, one great niece Alana. Special cousins/nieces & nephews, T. J., Michael Jr.,(Britany and Aja), Donovan and Lauryn and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends and dear friends.
