Ms. Kim Yvette Preston daughter of Cynthia Preston Porter and Archie Houston was born April 3, 1966 in Atlanta (Fulton County) Georgia.
Kim attended elementary and High School in Decatur (Dekalb County) Georgia, graduating from Avondale High School in 1984.
A very expressive, fun loving person whom no matter what her problems were, greeted all with a brilliant and warm smile. She was embraced and loved by all whom she came into contact with.
Kim accepted Christ as Lord and Savior of her Life in April 1991 at Southside Springfield Baptist Church.
She enjoyed learning sign language, sewing, singing, dancing, and jewelry making distributing the finished work among family members and friends.
Kim leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Reva and Rachael; a loving mother, Mrs. Cynthia (Clarence) Porter; stepfather, Jimmy Fletcher Freeman; father, Archie Houston; one sister, Pamela; one brother, Jimmy, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. We Love You Kim!
