In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Johnny F. Huddleston. Celebration of Life will be Friday, August 19, 2022 11:00am at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel. Interment will be at Dawn Memorial Park 4685 Glenwood Road Decatur, GA 30035. Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2022 12noon-6:00pm. Grissom-Clark Funeral Home 404-373-3191 Mr. Johnny Frank Huddleston was born on June 22, 1939, in Philadelphia, MS (Neshoba County) to the late Florence Coleman Huddleston and Frank Huddleston. He was their only child, but he had a total of fourteen (14) sibling. After graduating high school, he went to Mississippi Valley State University where he played football. His first love was playing bass guitar where he traveled all over Mississippi with various big named artists. Mr. Johnny worked at Peachtree Golf Course from the years 2005-2020 at 4600 Peachtree Road Brookhaven GA 30319. He was a caddie, and, in that position, he had to know a lot about golf to even be considered. He was then promoted to driver ranger assistance. He received a gold pen for fifteen years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, John, Donald, Ibelle, Lula, Rosetta, Edith, Hettie Pearl, Deloris, and Gavena. He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Lula; his children, Debbie (Michele) Huddleston Overbaugh, Tacoma, WA; Johnny (Betty) Huddleston, Meridian, MS and Robbie (Glenn) Huddleston Wilson, Philadelphia, MS; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Arlene Huddleston Barton, Denise Huddleston Draughon, Andy Huddleston, Johnny Huddleston and Arthur Huddleston; over more than fifty nieces and nephews; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He will be missed by all. May his soul rest in peace.

To Mrs. Huddleston stay strong. God is with you and have blessed you with many years with your wonderful husband. And To Johnny Huddleston Jr. and wife Betty, keep his memories alive in your heart. I only spoke with Mr. Johnny a couple of times but one thing he always talked about was his son and his wife. What a wonderful person he was. Heaven is happy now. And so is Mr. Johnny! Keep your heads up and laugh and smile through his memories and greatness. He is at peace.
