Dr. Angela F. Slaughter

Dr. Slaughter was an angel sent straight from heaven for me. In 2008 i was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease called guillian-Barre syndrome. I was just 17 years old at the time. I had full paralysis, respiratory failure, which resulted in 3-4 months stay in the hospital. I believed i was going to die.i was mal nourished and scared for my life...that was until angela took over as my Dr. She made me feel way more comfortable about my situation and promised me i was going to get better. She took control and made sure i was taken care of to the best of her abilities. She truly cared for her patients. She would visit me on a daily basis. Even on holidays. She even knitted me a beanie that i still wear to this day. She was my guardian angel. I just recently heard about her passing a month ago. I am devastated. I will never forget her. She helped me pull through in my darkest time of my life. She truly saved my life. I love you dr. Slaughter...may you rest in peace.
