Obituary For Uriah McCree

Mr. Uriah Diondreus McCree, 19, the son of Dion McCree and Christina Michaels. Uriah departed from his earthly home on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022. He was born in Gaston County on August 29th, 2002.

Uriah was a 2020 graduate of Kings Mountain High School. Uriah loved his son, his family, and friends. He was truly a momma’s boy. He loved trips to the beach with his family. He loved his grandmother, Brenda dearly. Also, he loved the first love of his life, Lana Keophilavanh.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Barbara McCree and James McCree; maternal grandparents: Frank Michaels and Mary Strickland.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories to his mother: Christina Michaels, his father: Dion McCree, Sr., his son: Kingsley McCree; grandmother: Brenda Wallace of Lake City, SC; sisters: Unitie McCree and Kayla Waston (Isaiah) of Gastonia, NC; brothers: Dion McCree, Jr. (Kourtney) of Clover, SC, Umar McCree, Nate Bolch, Elijah McCree, Jalen McCree all of Gastonia, NC, Matthew Coleman of Kings Mountain, NC, aunts, Tina McCree, Donna Winkler, and Michelle Meeks Adams (Joe) all of Gastonia, NC; uncles: James Toms, Jr., and Tyrone McCree of Gastonia, NC; great aunts: Minister Vickie Meeks Clinton, (Albert), and Kathy Hill of SC; great uncle: Freddie Hoover; Godmother: Emily Jolly of Atlanta, special aunt: Nina; special cousin: Shaqunna Sanders and a host of family, friends that loved him.

Viewing at the funeral home on Thursday; March 24, 2022 from 4 until 8.

Funeral on Friday; March 25, 2022 at Ascending Faith Christian Ministries-200 S. Spargo Street, Dallas, NC at 3:00 p.m. with thirty minutes visitation before the service.
