George and I grew up together. His parents, my parents and grandparents and Sharon community were farming those cotton fields together. I felt like his brothers and sisters were my brothers and sisters. When my brothers, cousin and I visited him in the hospital last week, he recognized us all, and he was clear as a bell; and it was so good to talk with him. He is resting in God's arms now, along with Mr. Sam, Miss Frances, Ness, Shoat, and his other loved ones. Rest in peace my brother/father, friend, playmate.
