Obituary For Doris Sherrill

Doris Marie Floyd Sherrill, the daughter of the late Alberta Floyd, was born April 25, 1945 and passed away on Saturday; October 30, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, North Carolina.

She was educated in the Gaston County School System, where she received her high school diploma. She previously worked at Pharr Yarn Mills and lastly at Moses Manor where she retired from.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Albert and Blanche Floyd and a nephew: Bruce Eugene Floyd.

She leaves to cherish fond memories to her only child: Minister LaTara Tribble of Mt. Holly, NC; two grandchildren: JeKeyla Jefferies (Darrice), and Curtis Tribble, Jr.; three great grandchildren: Anija, Ta’liyah, and Carter Jefferies of Gastonia, NC; one sister: Dianne L Floyd of Gastonia, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
