Mr. Christopher Dupree Ellis was born in Gaston County, Gastonia, North Carolina on January 21, 1985 to Michele Camp and Terry Lipscomb. He was called to eternal rest on Friday; March 18, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, North Carolina.

Christopher attended Ashbrook High School in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was a humble, caring, loving, family oriented person who helped anyone he could. He always had a huge smile. With a funny sense of humor, Christopher was known for cutting hair, fixing cars, drawing, swimming and being an amazing listener and an amazing cook. He loved his family especially his children and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Memories shall forever be cherished by his mother: Michelle Camp; his father: Terry Lipscomb (Charlotte) both of Gastonia, North Carolina; one daughter: Iyanna White; four sons: Bryant Miller, Jabori Hoyle, Ja’coby Biggers and Jake S. Butler; one sister: Felicia Camp of Gastonia, North Carolina; four brothers: Luther Camp, Demetrius Camp of Gastonia, North Carolina, Terry Graham and Naterrius Chaparral Smith; grandmothers: Francis Funderburke and Connie Minor; special friend: Courtney Heard; girlfriend: Nickie McDowell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Saturday; March 26, 2022 from 3 until 7

Funeral: Sunday; March 27, 2022 at Center Baptist Church, Gastonia at 3:00 p.m., with visitation thirty minutes before the service

Interment: Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia

1992/1993 Woodhill Elem Right after you returned to school from being hit by a car,that's when we met. Soft spoken & humble. With a smirk on your face and a sparkle in your eyes you always had a joke ready to lighten any mood. Fast forward to Ashbrook and you still had jokes lol. Your friendship meant more to me then you know,in a world turned upside down full of diversity & racism there are very little people who remain color blind,I'm proud,thankful and forever grateful for your friendship and my heart is deeply saddened that your life has been cut so short.
