Vince will be greatly missed. Always loved seeing him and his mother at yard sales. He always had such a beautiful smile and was such a great guy! Thoughts and prayers are with his family.
To Mrs Tip and the entire Armstrong family I send my deepest condolences. As I used to walk to the gym bduring those Clover summer days I always remember passing your house and Mr. Bill and Vince would be working in the yard. Whether Vince was pushing or on the riding mower, he always waved with that radiant smiled. I am confident we can trust God with your care because He loves you all so! ...peace & blessings, Michael & Erica Sherer

My dear Vince, I haven't seen you since we were much younger. I remember you driving aunt Tap's station wagon to grandma's house and thinking, "Wow you can drive that? I was impressed as a kid from NYC where parents always drove. I loved your quiet gentle soul and your infectious smile. You are already missed by so many. I love you Vince. Take you rest now & I'll see you again one day! ❤️

Vincent is such a grand figure in my most fond childhood memories. He is often in my thoughts and always in my heart. His warmth and kindness were impactful on my youth. My deepest condolences to all who are feeling this loss.
Love always. Ken Love & family
Vince was truly a sweet and humble individual. I was privileged to work with Vince at Community Cash. We enjoyed our time together. I remember the late Bill Turner telling me he was hesitant to hire Vince, because he didn't know if Vince could handle the work load. He said it didn't take long to realize that he was wrong about ole Vince. He wished he could have five more, just like him. Vince will always be a Clover Jewel in my book. We were all blessed for knowing him. See you again someday my friend. Oh, say hello to Mr. Bill Turner and Catfish. Tell'm Clover misses them too.
I worked with sweet Mr Vince for many years he was a good Godly man and I know he is at rest with the savior - I pray for peace for his family. Katie hagy

"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." – 2 Corinthians 5:8 (NKJV).
Father God may you comfort the family of Bro. Carl "Vincent" Armstrong. Just thinking of all the wonderful, fond, and precious memories as we all grew up from children to adults traveling from one another's residences from Gastonia to Clover or Clover to Gastonia.
Reunions, family gatherings, food, relatives near and far and there's no family like our family, as we thought and believed.
It's hard to believe that you will no longer be here in the physical but, watching over us all from above with Uncle Bill and all the other family members that have gone before us.
You will truly be missed, VINCE, you take your rest.
Love you much, Cousin!!!
