Mrs. Betty Brown was born in York, South Carolina on November 13, 1947 to Ada and Roger Carroll. She transitioned from her earthly home on Sunday; June 13, 2022.
Mrs. Brown worked at Arlington Mills for forty-three years. She attended Mt. Zion Restoration Church. Her hobbies were shopping and spending time with her great grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her father: Roger Carroll, Sr., her mother: Ada C. Carroll; brother: Richard Carroll, sister: Mattie C. Sanders and her husband: Luther William Brown, Sr.
Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her memories to her daughters: Dorothy Mae Brown and Barbara Ann Brown (Ngowu) son: Luther William Brown, Jr., all of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren: Eric Lamar Pratt, Angela Michelle Pratt, and Ursula Henderson; great grandchildren: Martaviou Stinson, Taniah Stinson, Darrious Pratt, Zaryah Pratt (Turtle), Maddison White all of Gastonia, NC; brothers: Bobby Lee Carroll, Willie James Carroll (Lisa), William Joe Carroll, Roger Carroll, Jr., all of Gastonia, NC; sisters: Mary Louise Walker, Mae Helen Caldwell both of Charlotte, NC, nephews: Christopher Lamar Carroll, Jerry Lewis Carroll; nieces: Betty Collins, Tyrica Carroll all of Gastonia, NC, Valerie Truesdale, Pamela Durham both of Rock Hill, SC, Marcella Forney, Willene Forney; great nephew: Malik Carroll; great nieces: Emoni Carroll and Camron Carroll; and a host of other relatives and friends.

I remember Betty from Lincoln High School she was always very kind and had a sweet personality.
So sad to learn of this just now. MS. Betty was a longtime customer at Dixie Village Post Office. Always kind and appreciative. Many days she was a Bright Spot in my day. My Sincere Condolences to all her Family.
