Ambassador Azalee Gracie McGill was born in York County, South Carolina in the Bethel Community in Clover, South Carolina on September 22, 1919 to the late James “Jim” Louis McGill and Susan Crawford McGill. God saw the hills had gotten hard to climb, so he dispatched his Angels to South Carolina to give Ambassador Azalee Gracie McGill her peace on Sunday; February 13, 2022.
Viewing at the funeral home on Friday; February 18, 2022 from 1 until 6
Funeral: Saturday; February 19, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Gastonia at 1:00 p.m.
Visitation is one hour before the service at the church
Interment: Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia on Sunday; February 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
Masks required at all services and the funeral will be live on funeral home facebook page.
Mother McGill was and inspiration to myself and many other's for years and will be greatly missed. She proclaimed The Gospel for so many years and always held on to her personal decoration, "I'm earth born but Heaven bound" Take your rest mother we will see you in the morning! Pastor John F. Benton

I would always call you when I didn't know how to pray for myself and I never had to ask for prayer you just knew I needed it. My love for you will never fade.
