My Great Grandma Brown was always full of life. I remember going to visit, waiting for her to come downstairs to welcome us in. I recall the scent of her apartment - a scent that always served as nostalgia for enjoyable times with Great Grandma and views over the Potomac. Furthermore, she loved a good meal from Red Lobster! You will be, and are, missed. Love you! Dion Baker (Great Grandson)
Great grandma. It was an honor for me to be able to help you with everything. I appreciate the time we spent together. You will be missed. I love you. Darren Baker
It's hard to lose someone but the memories of that person allows them to live with you forever. These are the very words you shared with me one day as we sat together in one of our many conversations. I'm going to miss you but I want to say thank you for so many wonderful memories. I love you Grandma. I will always think of you and in between the tears I will think about our laughter and pound cake slices. Rest well my dear. Love you always. Kenny Craddox
Grandma you were truly one of a kind. Spoke your mind in a way that sometimes I would say "Grandma you can't say that ". And you would say "I'm grandma I can say anything I want. ". And you did. You were so full of laughter and always had something funny to say. I love you grandma. Rest on my sweet grandma. Tena
Grandmother, when I think about you being gone, My heart is saddened, and I don't know how I'll go on. You always had time to listen to my complaints, I've said so many times, "That woman's a saint."
You taught me more about life than anyone at all. And were always available, anytime I would call. I shed a tear because my "Grandma" is gone. Now somehow I must find the strength to go on.
Rejoice in heaven my lovely Ms Brown You always have a special place in my heart 💜 Love Saba

Grandma we are going to really miss you. I'm going to miss joking around with you whenever we were together. We would laugh so so much that everyone would look at us strange wondering what was so funny. It didn't matter what was going on we always found something to laugh about. Grandma I will miss our times together even our phone calls we had. We may have lived in different states but my love for you never knew the difference because you were always in my heart. You were a great Grandmother and no one can ever take your place cause you were a one of a kind. R.I.H Grandma I will forever miss you. Love you always your Granddaughter Linda (Eddie's wife)
Dearest great-grandma Brown,
Thank you for showing me how a fearless woman looked. You lived your life on your terms, without apology. Acceptance of yourself taught me to embrace who I am and stay true to myself. I love you and will always keep your memories close to my heart.
With all my love,
Lisa
