What do I do now Since my Sweet Queen is gone What do I do now Cry and feel alone?
So many conversations Of how we would do this or that So many phone calls Where all we did was chat
So much of her sweetness I could never forget So much of her kindness She was so perfect!
Queen loved to see people Succeed and grow She would simply encourage And you would know
She believed in me She thought I could do EveryThing She told me recently... You should run an ad in the paper and list Every Thing you do She said I bet people would not believe such a person exists.
I made her laugh Through the sickness and pain One thing about her she would never complain
Two days before she transitioned, I laid beside Queen on her bed. I said Queen, I want you to know that I've so loved taking care of you. I've so loved taking care of you. You were so easy to care for. And I would do it a thousand times over.
I said I know you must want to see my mother, your mother, and Calvin again. So you can go home if you want. I said I will be fine. I will miss you because I already do.
I love you Queen What more can I say I miss you my Queen Till we meet again one day.
Say hello to Moma Tell her I did my best Tell her I treated you With the utmost respect!
What do I do now? Since my Queen is now gone? those sweet sweet memories in my heart — allow them to live on.

Our smiling neighbor for 40+ years. Labor to reward. May she rest in peace. The Napper family
I first met Aunt Queen when I was 18, a month before I graduated from high school. When I first went to the army, I would always write you letters that began " Dear Aunt Queen, I hope you and Uncle Calvin are doing fine...". I will end my last letter to you with this:
"Dear Aunt Queen, I hope you and Uncle Calvin are doing fine, safe in the arms of Jesus".

I came to know Queen after the death of my dad (her first cousin) in 2020. She helped me to learn much about my father's family. She was my last contact for family history. I will miss our talks and wish I had called her more. May she rest in peace. Betty Prezzy Bryant
