Obituary For Elizabeth Sue Gibbons

Funeral service for Elizabeth Sue Gibbons will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 1:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Delta, AL with Reverend Lorenzo Caldwell, Officiating.

Elizabeth Sue Gibbons was born March 29, 1939 to the parentage of the late S.T. Denny and Lizzie Craig. Elizabeth was educated through Clay County Training School. She was employed by Higgins Embroidery for twenty years. She was also employed by Welborn cabinets for ten years. Elizabeth retired from Oxford Home-Health at the age of 75.

On Friday November 25, 2022, at the age of 83, Elizabeth gained her wings at Talladega Healthcare Center, surrounded by family. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, S.T. Denny and her mother, Lizzie Craig. Her memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of her son, Leon Denny of Talladega, AL; as well as, Norman (Ophelia) Gibbons, Lorraine Gibbons, Helen (Bobby) Hunter, and Timmy (Carolyn) Gibbons, all of Lineville, AL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
