This is a devastating loss for the State of Georgia. My son was in Mr. McMillan's HR class and he also taught my son Georgia History. I'm so thankful that Mr. McMillan made such a great positive influence on the children at Merry Acres. I'll never forget his smile and the positive energy and vibes. We are so sorry for your loss. My grand-daughter loved having Mr. McMillan for her homeroom and Social Studies teacher this year. He has been one of her favorite teachers. He will be greatly missed. Prayers and hugs for your family.

Sending our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. McMillan. He was my son's favorite teacher. Mr. McMillian was able to connect with this younger generation and made them feel heard and supported. During our parent teacher conference he told us about how his mom stayed on him (like I do my son) and how help it will be in the long run. Mr. McMillan is missed daily in my sons class. We are praying for peace that surpasses all understanding for his family.

Ms. McMillan I am so sorry about Jordan. He was a very unique individual with a smile that lit this world every where he traveled up and down the hallways of MAMS Middle School and beyond. He became my child the first day I laid eyes on him. Some days he would call me his Auntie and other days his bonus mom at MAMS. I got a hug and a smack on the cheek every morning from my baby. When he found out that I knew you, I became family to him. Lord, I loved him like he was own child and my heart broke when I heard of his passing. Jordan didn't pass away, he just went to sleep. One thing I'm sure of, he loved you. We had many conversations about you "his mom". I could see it in his eyes when he talked about you. He loved his family so much.
