BRANCH- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center, 200 Good Shepherd Ct., Branch, LA for Mr. Shawn Anthony Carrier, Sr. who eternal rest on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Pastor Lucille Moore of Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center will be officiating the funeral services.
Cherishing Mr. Carrier’s memories are: his mother, Rose M. Carrier of Church Point, LA; his special companion, Shawanna Guillory of Opelousas, LA; fifteen children, Shawn Carrier, Jr. (Laci), Jamal Brown, Anthony Carrier, Traven Carrier, Carson Lavergne, Shawnetta Carrier and Ja’Kylion Lazaro, all of Church Point, LA, Shamara Carmouche (Thaddeus), Lotoria Smith, De’ante Carrier, Destini Carrier and Se’Myah Herbert, all of Rayne, LA, Quionte Robinson of Lake Charles, LA, Alexis Lafleur of Alexandria, LA, Sanaa Carrier of Opelousas, LA and Aiden Jones of Carencro, LA; four brothers, Thomas Carrier, Jr. (Denise), Spencer Carrier, Sr. (Vanessa), Ronald Carrier (LaToria) and Jacobie Carrier (Kendra), all of Church Point, LA; three sisters, Deirdre Green (Leonce), Thea Pierre (Larrell) and LaJuan Milstead (Clyde), all of Church Point, LA; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Carrier, Sr. and his daughter, Shawnice Carrier.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center.

Hey cuz, you know things are weird to say you are gone but who are we to question God... Our last moment we shared was fun we all got drunk at Aunt Teddy's... When it was time for us to come back to Houston you said don't be a stranger and i did but now i can't fix that... Who would've thought you would leave us so soon? So to Aunt Teddy, all your siblings, and most of all your babies I love y'all and i pray a god gives you guys the strength because i could never imagine the voids you guys feel... RIP cousin!!!
