OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Serenity Memorial Park in Leonville, LA for Mr. Ron Gerold Haynes, 43, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Interment will immediately follow.
Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Haynes leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Ashley Thomas-Haynes of Opelousas, LA; his mother, Evette Richard Haynes of Opelousas, LA; two sons, Blake Haynes and Landon Haynes, both of Opelousas, LA; one step daughter, Kaylee Thomas of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Jared Haynes and Gregory Haynes, II, both of Opelousas, LA; maternal grandmother, Elsie Richard of Opelousas, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his father, Gregory Haynes, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Herman Richard; paternal grandparents, Alvin Haynes, Sr. and Frances Emerson Haynes; and one nephew, Keon Haynes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Serenity Memorial Park.
