OPELOUSAS – Private viewing service for the IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Pamela Lavergne Thibodeaux, 56, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at her residence in Lawtell, LA. Graveside services will immediately follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Mallet, LA.
Rev. Borgia Aubespin, S.V.D., Pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Ann Catholic Church, will be officiating the service. Mrs. Thibodeaux was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Mrs. Thibodeaux leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Mr. William Thibodeaux of Lawtell, LA; one son, Alex (Megan) Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Kyara and Kristen Thibodeaux, both of Lawtell, LA; five brothers, Ferdinand (Shirley) Lavergne, Eddie Lavergne, both of Opelousas, LA, Raphael (Theresa) Lavergne and Joseph Houston (Myra) Lavergne, both of Lake Charles, LA and Joseph Carrol (Shirley) Lavergne of Houston, TX; one sister, Gloria Dargin (Orell) of Houston, TX; one grandchild, Liam Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Estella Lavergne and her brother, Ulysses Lavergne.

This is by far a sad day for the Lavergne and the Thibodeaux family. My beautiful cousin Pam will truly be miss. I remember growing up with them was like brothers and sisters instead of first cousins. Fly high beautiful no more sickness no more pain.
