CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at First Church of God In Christ in Crowley, LA for Mr. Nathan Cain, 67, who entered eternal rest on Friday, August 4, 2023 in Lake Charles, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
Bishop Alton Gatlin, Pastor of First Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Cain’s memories are being cherished by: his two sons, Nathan Meaux of Belair, CA and Donovan (Brittany) Meaux of Lake Charles, LA; one daughter, Tasha Meaux of Lake Charles, LA; his mother, Viola Cain of Crowley, LA; four brothers, Leroy Cain, Jr. of Jennings, LA, Daniel Cain of Dallas, TX, Micheal (Sharron) Cain of Houston, TX and Kirk Cain of Crowley, LA; three sisters, Gloria Cain of Lake Charles, LA, Carrie B. Cain and Carmen Cain, both of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mr. Cain is preceded in death by: his father, Leroy Cain, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Moses and Rosella Cain; maternal grandparents, George Gant and Emma Lovelace-Gant; a niece, Latoya Meaux; two sisters-in-law, Jean Cain and Marsia Meaux; and a nephew, Captain Marcus Cain.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at First Church of God In Christ.
