OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Michael Wayne Gallien, 57, who entered eternal rest on Friday, January 31, 2025 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Gallien’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Vera (Vick) Morris of Opelousas, LA and bonus father, James Gerald Quebedeaux of Opelousas, LA; two bonus sons, Christopher Collins and Anthony Collins, both of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, Abraham Gallien, Jr. of Houston, TX, Tyrone Gallien(Tyece) and Cedric Gallien, both of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Jacqueline Gallien (Ronald) of Opelousas, LA; eight bonus grandchildren, Anthony Collins, Jr., Lazerrion Collins, Kristina Collins, Christopher Collins, Jr., Spencer Collins, Christina Collins, Corinthian Collins and Kryslyn Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his father, Abraham Gallien, Sr.; bonus son, Bryan Collins; paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Rebecca Gallien; and maternal grandparents, George and Beatrice Fontenot Morris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
