OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8. 2022 at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Maude Esther Hardy Warren, 76, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Opelousas General Health. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Pastor Calvin Moore of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church will be officiating the funeral service.
Maude Estherโs memories are being cherished by: her two sons, Donald Hardy and Alvin Paul Warren, both of Opelousas, LA; six daughters, Shelia Thomas, Debra Faye Hardy (Rogers), Kathleen Warren and Maxine Warren (Brian), all of Opelousas, LA, Karen Warren Perry (Sherman) of Eunice, LA and Sharon Fontenot of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Felton (Lelia Mae) Hardy of Opelousas, LA and Freddie (Wanda) Thompson of Houston, TX; four sisters, Doris Williams, Mildred Hardy and Mary Louise Richard, all of Opelousas, LA and Marjorie Goodman of Oakdale, LA; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, David Warren; her parents, Jerry and Nettie Hardy; one brother, Matthew Hardy; one granddaughter, Hannah Thomas; and one son-in-law, David Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church.

Sis. Warren served dutifully as an usher at Little Zion MBC for many years and mentored her daughter Debra and others in the usher ministry. Her service was greatly appreciated, and we will miss her smile, sweet deposition, and devotion to God, her family, and her church family.

Event time I see her at store we talk her and daughter. Me and Mrs.Maude we went other church long time go for usher at Greater Live Oak Baptist Church.
