BRANCH – Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Branch, LA for Mrs. Mary Brown, 81, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
Rev. Craig Gregory will be officiating the funeral service.
Mrs. Brown’s memories are being cherished by: her two sons, Troy (Deborah) Brown of Lafayette, LA and Timothy Brown of Crowley, LA; one sister, Eva Jean Minix (Calvin) of Rayne, LA; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by: her husband, Albert Brown; her parents, Woodrow and Laura Yokum; her son, Charles Brown; and one brother, Allen Ladd Yokum.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

My condolences on the passing of Mrs. Brown. She was one of the many leaders that I recall being a part of the Acadia-Lafayette Area Youth Department and was so kind hearted every time I saw her. May God be with her family, as well as other loved ones.
