VILLE PLATTE β Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church in Ville Platte, LA for Mr. Mark Martin Latigue, 93, who entered eternal rest on Monday, August 26, 2024 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Rev. Freddie Jack, Pastor of St. John Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Latigueβs memories are being cherished by: his wife, Joyce Marie Joseph Latigue of Ville Platte, LA; two sons, Minister Marque Latigue of Ville Platte, LA and Henry (Carmen) Latigue of Humble, TX; one daughter, Margo Lynn Latigue Stampley (Jeffery) of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Lawrence (Delores) Guillory, Jr. of Beaumont, TX; three sisters, Beatrice Charles of Mamou, LA, Jerry Dewitt of Virginia and Jessie Guillory of Beaumont, TX; six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his father, Claude Latigue; his mother Emma Guillory and step father, Lawrence Guillory, Sr.; one son, Franklin Latigue; one daughter, Patsy Tezeno Latigue; one brother, Dudley Latigue; and three sisters, Deborah Guillory, Lelia Guillory and Hazel M. Guillory.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church.
