Obituary For Lionel Rosette, Sr.

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Lionel Rosette, Sr., 73, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel C.O.G.I.C., will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Rosette leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Theresa Castille Rosette of Opelousas, LA; three daughters, Ursula Rosette of Houston, TX, Nicole Stevenson (David) and Shanet Tyler, both of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, William Rosette, Jr. (Justina), Herman Rosette, Sr. and Cal Rosette (Patricia), all of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Vernita Chambers of Opelousas, LA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; one son, Lionel Rosette, Jr.; one daughter, Melissa Chambers; four brothers; two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel C.O.G.I.C.
