OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Letha Mae Stagg Eggins, 73, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her residence in Washington, LA. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA.
Rev. James Gardiner will be officiating the funeral service.
Ms. Stagg-Eggins leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Mary Ann Stagg (John) of Opelousas, LA and Catherine Griffin (Milton) of Washington, LA; one brother, Eddie (Meena) Stagg of Ville Platte, LA; one sister, Josephine Stagg of Opelousas, LA; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her mother, Georgiana Stagg and her father, Alcide Stagg; one brother, James Stagg; and one sister, Mary Jean Stagg.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
