Obituary For Leroy Cook

CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance in Crowley, LA for Mr. Leroy Cook, 89, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.

Bishop Brian Minix, Pastor of Holy Temple Church of Deliverance, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Cook’s memories are being cherished by: two sons, Leonard Paul Beverly of Port Arthur, TX and Raywood (Linda) Davis of Houston, TX; one daughter, Lee Paulette Cook of Prairieville, LA; one brother, John Cook of Hattiesburg, MS; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a special friend in Christ, Ida H. Paton; several children he helped to rear; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Cook is preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph and Emily Cook; five brothers, Wilbert Cook, Harol Cook, Joseph Cook, Richard Cook and James Cook, Sr.; and one sister, Juanita Cook Taylor.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance.
