MS. LEONA M. ROSE
OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Leona M. Rose, 81, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in True Vine Baptist Church Cemetery.
Rev. Albert Tezeno, Pastor of First Benjamin Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Ms. Rose’s memories are being cherished by: her three brothers, Raynard Rose of Baton Rouge, LA, Calvin Rose and Allen (Cynthia) Rose, both of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Lou Rose of Opelousas, LA and Betty Pipkins of Dallas, TX; one sister-in-law, Earnestine Rose of Houston, TX; and a host of relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Aaron and Vinder Celestine Rose; three brothers, Aaron Rose, Jr., Eugene Rose and Harry James Rose; and one sister, Dorothy Rose.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
