OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Laurie Williams, 57, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at her home in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Ms. Williams’ memories are being cherished by: her father, Jackie William of Liberty, MS and her mother, Lois Alford of Opelousas, LA; her companion, James Gilbert, Sr. of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Randy Williams of Youngsville, OH, James Gilbert, Jr. of Opelousas, LA and Javonnie Gibson of St. Martinville, LA; two daughters, Lakendrial Williams and Tammy Johnson (Herman), both of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Arthur James Williams of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Eva Harris (Daryl) of Houston, TX; twenty grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her two sons, Andrew Wilson and Kenneth Sears and her grandparents, Henry and Lillian Alford.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
