OPELOUSAS A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Kathleen Anderson, 66, who entered eternal rest on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Mrs. Anderson leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Joseph Anderson of Opelousas, LA; two children, Erik Gordon of Opelousas, LA and Devyn Anderson of Lafayette, LA; two step children, Tristian Anderson of Opelousas, LA and Joseph T. Anderson, Jr. of California; five sisters, Janet Watson (Vincent) of East Lansing, MI, Berryl Thompson (Harry, Jr.), Andrea Sam (Thomas) and Shaun Gallow (Perry), all of Opelousas, LA and Countess Wright (Bob) of Iowa; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence “Speedy” and Rosalind Gordon and her brother, Lawrence “Drew” Gordon, Jr.
