OPELOUSAS – Funeral Mass will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Joseph Guidry, 71, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 2, 2024 at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA.
Mr. Guidry’s memories are being cherished by: his two daughters, Anika Guidry and Chrissie Guidry, both of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Daniel (Mary) Guidry and Jeffery (Marcella) Guidry, both of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Laura Mason of Opelousas, LA; seven grandchildren, Jai Fontenot, Tyree Fontenot, Jace Fontenot, Kaitlyn Guidry, Ari Guidry, Davyn Guidry and Destiny Guidry; and a host of relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his wife, Carol Ann Guidry; parents, Hilton and Philomene Rubin Guidry; one daughter, Miranda Guidry; one brother, Patrick Guidry; two sisters, Janice Guidry and Patricia Rami; and one brother-in-law, Wendell Mason.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m.
