LeBeau – Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Church of God Campground, 445 Campground Rd., Palmetto, LA for Mr. Jerry Chambers, 63, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Donald”, who entered eternal rest on Monday, November 6, 2023, at his residence. Interment will be at First Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in LeMoyen, LA.
Pastor Dale Fontenot will be officiating the service.
Donald memories are being cherished by: four sons, Jeffery (Amanda) Rue of Baton Rouge, Ron Rue of Houston, TX, Jerry (Denise) Rue of Carencro, LA, and Christopher Rue of LeBeau, LA; two brothers, James (Dorothy) Chambers of Opelousas, LA, and Billy Chambers of LeBeau, LA; three sisters, Barbara Woolridge of LeBeau, LA, Diane Fontenot of Houston, TX, and Debra Romar of LeBeau, LA; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Donald is preceded in death by: his parents, Paul and Lucille Evans Chambers, Sr.; eight brothers, Paul Chambers, Jr., Herman Chambers, Micheal Chambers, Roy Chambers, Darren Chambers, Richard Chambers, Rodney Chambers, and Mitchell Chambers; and one sister, Carrie Chenevert.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Church of God Campground.
