Obituary For James Chambers, Sr.

LEBEAU – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lebeau, LA for Mr. James Chambers, Sr., 77, who entered eternal rest on Monday, December 30, 2024. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Rev. Jospeh Kikanda, SSJ, assisted by Deacon David Chambers, will be officiating the mass.

Mr. Chambers’ memories are being cherished by: his two sons, James (Dee) Chambers, Jr. and Timothy Chambers, both of Houston, TX; a Godson, Jalen Jackson of Las Vegas, NV; four brothers, Wilson Chambers, Ronald Chambers and Donald Chambers, all of Houston, TX and Jerome Chambers of Melville, LA; three grandchildren, Angel Morris of Sunset, LA, Janay Chambers and Courtney Chambers, both of Houston, TX; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Viola Chambers; his parents, Wallace and Irene Chambers; and two sisters, Murline Rideau and Betty Lou Chambers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
