Obituary For David "Charlie" Edmond, Sr.

OPELOUSAS – Private viewing service for the IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. David Edmond, 62, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery in Mallet, LA.

Mr. Edmond leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Bradley Joseph Edmond (Maricka) and David Lee Edmond, Jr. (Hanna) both of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Angie Marie Edmond and Adrienne Shenell Edmond both of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Paul Edward Edmond of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Martha Ann Edmond of Opelousas, LA and Sylvia Edmond Laws of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Edmond, Jakayla Edmond, Nylah Edmond, Rhylen Edmond, and Bronson Papillion; special friend Eva King; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Edmond; Parents, Edward and Hilda Rubin Edmond; N-laws, Leo Paul and Theresa Espree; one grandson, Isaiah Edmond, and one daughter-in-law, Danielle Papillion-Edmond.
