OPELOUSAS โ Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Christopher James Lavergne, Sr., 46, who entered eternal rest on Friday, February 16, 2024 in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Keven Winbush will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Lavergneโs memories are being cherished by: his three sons, NeโVar Lazard of Washington, LA, Jamarcus Lavergne and Christopher James Lavergne, Jr., both of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Alyssa Mouton of Opelousas, LA and KaโMari Hebert of Carencro, LA; one brother, Brett (April) Lavergne of Opelousas, LA; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Willie James and Leaster Thomas Lavergne, Sr.; one son, Justin Rashawn Mouton; one brother, Willie Lavergne, Jr.; and one sister, Crystal Lavergne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
