Obituary For Benjamin Paul Hayward, Sr.

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Benjamin Paul Hayward, Sr., 47, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Pastor Christopher Ardoin will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Hayward’s memories are being cherished by: one son, Benjamin Paul (Tiajuana) Hayward, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Kia Hayward of Ville Platte, LA and Keiarra Hayward of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Jamie Edwards of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Kim Hayward of Cottonport, LA and Tammy Edwards of Alexandria, LA; special cousin, Shawn Morrison of Mansura, LA three grandchildren, Benjamin Paul Hayward, III, Kylis Faye Butler and Keywontae Dewon Butler, Jr.; cousins, Jason Bonton, Kenneth Morrison, Jr. and Leon Morrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mr. Hayward is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Grimes and Demetric Hayward and his cousin, Walter Washington.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
