OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Plaisance, LA for Mr. Anna Lois Celestine., 69, who entered eternal rest on Monday, May 15, 2023 at her residence in Plaisance, LA. Interment will be at St. Mark MBC as well.
Pastor Jason Rubin Sr. will be officiating the funeral service.
Mrs. Celestine leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Lincoln Celestine Sr., one daughter, Carol Celestine Thomas (Vincent) of Washington, LA;one son, Marcus Celestine (Telley) of Opelousas, LA; one daughter in law, Willlona Celestine of Opelousas, LA ,five sisters, Alvina Rideaux of Chicago, IL, Dorothy Tezeno of Dallas, TX, Mary Johnson (Charlson) of Washington, LA and Viola Readore (Reynard) of Lebeau, LA; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Celestine was preceded in death by: her parents, Joseph and Lawrence Ardoin Tezeno; one son, Lincoln Celestine, Jr .; six brothers, Clarence Tezeno, Eugene Tezeno, Ambrose Tezeno, Farris Tezeno, Peter Tezeno and Willie Tezeno; and five sisters, Clara Sinegal, Rose Mouton, Hilda Tezeno, Lorita Celestine and Joyce Tezeno.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the St. Mark MBC.
