Obituary For Adry Joubert, Sr.

Services celebrating the life of Adry Joubert Sr. of Opelousas, 86, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. Mark Baptist Church in Plaisance, LA. Brother Joubert entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 5, 2019 at his residence.

Interment will be at St. Mark Cemetery. Reverend Jason Rubin, Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church will be officiating the funeral services.

Brother Joubert leaves to mourn his wife of 56 years Allie Rose Dave Joubert of Opelousas, LA; To this union are two sons, Dwayne Andra Joubert of Opelousas, LA and Adry Joubert Jr. (Tara) of Jonesboro, GA; and one daughter, Karissa L. Guillory (Phillip) of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by another daughter, Victoria Nelson of Houston, TX; seven granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Joubert and Elma Johnson Joubert; two brothers, Hurist Joubert and Aaron Joubert; and three sisters, Mildred Thomas, Hester Pitre and Hinda Batiste.

Visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2019 from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church.
