Life Reflection of Antoinette Gail Revis: Antoinette Gail Revis affectionately called “Annie”, departed this life on October 21, 2021. She was born on July 18, 1959 to the late Dewey Belton and Helen Belton.

She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System and later moved to South Hill, VA with her late grandmother, Virginia Harris, where she completed her high school years. She graduated from Park View High School in 1977. The family was really proud of her because despite being a teenage mother; she pressed forward and continued her education. She met her first love, Beverly Lee Revis while there and they created a union in October 1978. From that union, Michael and Beverly Jr. enhanced the family. That union later resulted in divorce.

Annie worked for the federal government as a data entry operator while she lived in Florida, Maine and Philadelphia until she became disabled after a stroke.

Annie loved traveling, cooking, going to the casino and shopping at Cowtown. When there were family gatherings, we could always count on Annie to bring her famous Marinated Buffalo Wings. She loved spending time with her grandchildren swimming and eating Popeye’s Chicken. Annie created interesting combinations of cookies such as pumpkin chocolate chip which was a crowd favorite even if you were not a fan of pumpkins. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she always put up a Christmas tree; even if no one came to visit. She would be finished her holiday shopping before Thanksgiving. Annie loved dancing; especially line dancing. Annie was always ready to play a game of pinochle with her sister, Virginia and her late mother, Helen.

In 2014 Annie had a stroke and left her paralyzed on her left side. She had to learn how to walk, talk, and navigate her daily living skills. However, that did not stop her from getting around. She was determined to remain independent. Her strong, confident spirit enabled her to travel with her scooter, navigate around her home and live alone.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories forever two sons- Michael Revis and Beverly Revis Jr, five siblings- Alonzo Belton, (Yolanda) Veronica Belton-Pittman, (Michael) Marletta Belton and family, Brad Belton and family and Virginia Belton, two grandsons- Anthony Revis and Cyrus Revis; two aunts- Marie Shields and family (SC) and Hazel Belton and family (SC). Antoinette kept a close relationship with her grandsons’ mothers- Jennifer Ohman and Chicquilla Lewis who will miss her. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will also truly miss Annie.

We ask that you please wear a mask if you are attending.
