MRS. LOLA FARRAR CONNER, was born January 27, 1936 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life August 12, 2023 in Plainfield, NJ. She was the last child born to the late Lola Alexander Farrar and Willie Farrar. Lola was also preceded in death by her siblings- John William, Thomas, Esline, Venzelor, Theodore, Mabel, Kenneth, and Ada Mae.

At an early age she was baptized and joined Sharon Baptist Church. She attended Cedar Grove Public School.

In 1951 she was married to Alfred B. Conner and to this union five boys were born; George, Adam and Virgil preceded her in death.

In 1964 she left Virginia and moved to Pittsburgh, PA to work. She later migrated to New Jersey where she was employed as a CNA working at a Nursing Home. Later on in life she started working for the private sector as a CNA until her retirement.

Lola leaves to mourn, her husband- Alfred B. Conner; two sons- Charles W. (Diane) Conner, South Hill, VA and Wendell Conner, Plainfield, NJ; two daughters-in-law, Tracey and Donner Conner of NJ; four sisters-in-law, Fannie, Barbara, Pat and Sandra Conner all of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers-in-law, Bonnie Conner, Brooklyn, NY and Chauncey Conner, Atlanta, GA; 8 grandchildren- Wendell Mann, Candyce D. V. Conner, Rasheeda Conner, Shana Conner, Adam L. Conner, II, Joshua A. Conner, Evae Jackson, and Fred Johnson; 6 great-grandchildren-Veronica R. Conner, Arianna L. Conner, Sarah McGee, Nasir Mann, Janaya Mann, and Londyn Mann and a host of other relatives and friends.
