MS. KATRINA “Trina” MICHELE WILLIAMS, age 43 and daughter of the late Olivia Gill Williams and Lawrence H. Jones was born November 15, 1979 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life suddenly July 7, 2023 in LaCrosse, VA. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, John Williams and brother, Christopher Williams.
Trina was a 1997 graduate of Park View Senior High School, South Hill, VA. She served three years in the U.S. Army.
Trina loved to cook and majority of her employment background was in a kitchen. She has cooked in just about every restaurant in South Hill and was currently employed at McDonald’s (Loves Truck Stop), LaCrosse, VA. She was to start a new job at Amazon Distribution, Dinwiddie, VA on the day of her demise.
Trina was a very kind and loving person with an infectious smile. She would give you the shirt off her back and was always more concerned with others well-being than her own. To know her was to love her and her presence will be missed by us all.
Trina leaves to cherish her memory three children- Jordan, Zamiyes and Serenity Williams; grandchild- Kashmir Isiah Lee, all of the home; father- Lawrence H. Jones of South Hill, VA; two brothers- John (Michelle) Williams of LaCrosse, VA and Christopher Hardy of Atlanta, GA; five sisters- Jacqueline Bacon of Newport News, VA; Tanya (Kenneth) Jones of South Hill, VA; Valerie (Vantilberg) Greene of Chesapeake, VA; Dr. Trecia Jones of Ocoee, FL and Jennifer Cypress-Ksor of Bracey, VA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
On behalf of the family, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for all of the acts of kindness shown to us during the loss of our sister. Please continue to pray for the strength and comfort of our families especially our niece and nephews as we try to move forward.
