To the family; I was shocked to learn about the passing of John. We both were graduates of Park View class of 1982. We also attended SVCC. I pray that God grants you the strength to endure the dark days ahead. May your memories of John bring you peace Remember, earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. John was truly a good person.
I light a pink candle for John because he was my dear friend. My only friend, really. We had an unlikely and unique friendship, but it worked. We enjoyed photography of nature and would often exchange photos of the days sunrise or sunset and I would get to hear about his latest travels. John would always look out for me and check in on me, always offering to help any way he could. We would play ping pong and he was actually getting pretty good at it! Still couldn't beat me though. I would cook and bring him a plate and he was always very complimentary and appreciative. We would have long talks about our lives and give each other encouragement and advice. I will miss my friend so very much. Rest in peace, my friend, crazyburg 💔
